Have you
ever noticed that people aren't really perfectly symmetrical?
Well, I thought I might see what would happen if I made a
few friends faces perfectly symmetrical. They came out looking
quite frightening. So, I had to include just a little bit
of asymmetry in order to make them look normal. Below are
the original pictures and the (almost) symmetrized pictures.

This is a
picture of Suzan and Arwen at GHP.

This is the
same photo after I symmetrized Suzan's face. I also removed
the glare from the flash and any unsightly blemishes. It's
not perfectly symmetrical though. I purposely desymmetrized
her mouth to make her look more natural, and recolored her
hair and face on the right side to make the border with Arwen's
face look right.

And this
is Arwen's makeover. Most of her face has been symmetrized.
Her braces have been removed (to my best guess) and the glare
and blemishes have been removed as well.
Conclusion:
No matter what you look like in a particular picture, the
real you is hiding just under the surface.
As evidence
that you must be beautiful to begin with for this treatment
to be effective, I submit this rendition of my own self-portrait:

And here's
a note from the Illustrious Suzan herself:
venusvirtuosa:
i, Suzan the Illustrious, am not in any way offended by
quintopia's alteration of my semblance. in fact, i am grateful
and flattered that he should even take the time to do so for
one so inferior as myself. so leave him alone.
